Re: Sometimes script works, sometimes not

It is not only that AHK.exe will not close when game has been exited, but that it fails to work at all, beyond the auto-execute portion. Since this auto-execution is prior to the #IfWinActive line, AHK would attempt to perform these actions if I launched it with, lets say.... Battlefield 1942. The r...

My script needs a bit of help

The following script enables the use of a single key, to send a second key, after holding it down for 300ms: XButton2::TimeG:= A_PriorHotkey = "XButton2" ? TimeG : A_TickCount + 300 ;tap < 300ms XButton2 Up::Send,% A_TickCount < TimeG ? "XButton2" : "{Esc}" ;sends either "XButton2" or "{Esc}" Tap> X...

Re: Auto-centering mouse after shoot

I have had success moving the cursor to a specific location upon exit of game and used BlockInput to avoid my own clumsy interference. I just tinkered with my keymapping_Borderlands.ahk file and tested in game. I did not spend a lot of time on it, but Seems to me, you are going to have to do a coupl...

Re: MouseMove Relative In Game Cursor

Funny.... because I had the exact same issue with the mouse going to the top of screen and moving laterally, but in the OPPOSITE direction than scripted. It was only when I added SendMode, Event, that it moved as intended (this is the only game to have this issue with MouseMove). The game was DiRT: ...

Why do I see "Forum rules" atop some of my threads?

Since it is not seen on ALL my threads, I suspect it is due to a violation or suspected one within the thread itself. I have read the rules and not
aware if I have broken any. Is it some type of warning?

:morebeard:

PS> may become :beard: if I am flogged for AHK violations :(

Re: Auto-executing script Topic is solved

UPDATE: Funny, how I need to see my work spelled out.... to "see" it. The GoSub command ended up resolving more than I had initially realized and allows even more time to abort / restart process if game crashes. THE FOLLOWING FILES WERE REQUIRED FOR THE ABOVE POST TO TAKE PLACE: "Launch DiRT 3 & Ke...

I was dealing with MouseMove just yesterday and had similar issues you describe. They are exactly the same, say for one part ORIGINAL short-cut that has always worked: Tar...

The following is a script I use on nearly 100% of my games. This allows the RMB to serve as "enter" in both games menu and, when applicable, during gameplay: $RButton:: { send {RButton down}{enter down} keywait, RButton send {RButton up}{enter up} } return I use this particular variation on a few ga...

Run .lnk file syntax help needed Topic is solved

I have a single game that absolutely MUST be launched from an .lnk short-cut file and from C:\ Drive. Cannot use a batch file, nor launch directly from the games executable. Help with RunWait

Can someone help me with how RunWait is used in a script? The inital reason I posed this question, was a problem in a script for DiRT: 3. That issue was completely resolved, via Gosub command thanks to guidance from swagfag :) However, the means by which I suspect RunWait works within a thread, intr...
