Re: Classes in AHK, Basic tutorial.

DRocks I don't think you should use a class (if you don't need one). I've been using AutoHotkey for 10+ years and haven't written one (although when I stumble upon other people's I really struggle to use them) so that is why I'm wanting to learn them. I think if you work with GUIs then they become ...

Intro to Classes in AHK: Learn How and Why to use Classes

For years I've dabbled in classes but hadn't written my own. I asked Jean Lalonde, author of Quick Access Popup , to give us an Intro to Classes tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ILJqHWK2qM You can get the source files for the video here As mentioned in the video, we had webinar teaching an...

Is anybody here that is actually mining bitcoints or other cryptocurrency? I'd love to be able to ask a few questions to someone that's actually done it.
Please drop me a note at [email protected] (or just reply here)

Re: Optical character recognition (OCR) with UWP API

submeg My current script uses the built-in Windows 10 OCR. We also added that the user can select their language and choose a default translation language (using Google Translate) I think the link you provided goes to the same tool but this one has a better explanation of what's available. https://...

@Joe Glines, as you're a data scientist I think you'll appreciate [url=https://youtu.be/lp9qxTlrcTM]this new video on connecting StepwiseRPA to MS That looked painful to me. I think most data scientists would just use Python or R. In my experience databases aren't very helpful in analysis (but obvi...

Re: Installing & Configuring VS code

Hey @Joe Glines. I have just installed this editor like you suggested and I'm not sure that I am going to be able to use it because of the themes that it uses (they are killing my eyes to look at). Do you know if there is a way for me to use the same color palette that Scite4AutoHotkey uses? I stil...

Re: Screen clipping

That code tries to tell whether you are using a unicode version of auohotkey. If you are not using the unicode version then it displays an error box. If you are running the unicode version, then it will run itself - that is, the script runs the script again and then exits it's own instance. More to...

IE Dying, COM Object History & Browser Automation

I've been talking with a lot of AutoHotkey experts about IE going away. Many are pretty concerned but I had a call with Charlie Simmons (Tank from the AutoHotkey forum) and he had some great insights on: IE dying, COM and Future of Browser Automation
