Re: New subforum for Keysharp

To have Keysharp related posts in the C# subforum looks problematic. 1) It is tucking away Keysharp and making it hard to find. 2) People who are specifically into C# (proper) may not want to see it there. 3) Seems to create confusion. Possibly a good solution or compromise is to put Keysharp as a s...

Re: New subforum for Keysharp

Think the Keysharp project has made very significant progress and is a useful (and needed) addition to the AHK family. Don't think it has to be perfect, but usable enough to perform tasks that users need to get accomplished, because such things will always be a work in progress to a certain extent. ...

Re: Report False-Positives To Anti-Virus Companies

Another good way to get the attention or punish non-responsive vendors is to apply pressure by e-mailing/contacting VirusTotal, and seeking to get them removed. Removing non-responsive or bad vendors from VirusTotal is helping the public in general. VirusTotal Online contact form (https://www.virust...

Agree with the stickied thread too, particularly as others think this is best and it will still help maintain awareness of the project.

Re: Keysharp - the resurrection of IronAHK

The editor with line numbers in Keyview is very sub-optimal. It's based on a control I found and copied. If anyone knows how to make IDE style code editors, I would greatly appreciate help improving Keyview. Adding support for multiple files would be nice too. Something that you might want to add o...

Re: Reporting False-Positives Is Not Enough

I think embarrassing and requesting non-responsive vendors to be removed from VirusTotal (https://www.virustotal.com/gui/contact-us), is probably one of the best directions to go. However, I strongly believe that the vendor should first be informed of the false positive situation. And if they fail t...

Re: Keysharp - the resurrection of IronAHK

Release 0.0.0.5 has been posted on the downloads page here: https://bitbucket.org/mfeemster/keysharp/downloads/ The usual list of caveats and differences from AHK v2 are here: We've ticked off all of the remaining features to get parity (minus caveats above) with AHK v2 . The continual progress is ...

Re: Allman style v. K&R style/one true brace style

Another variation of the Allman style, that perhaps should be mentioned, is putting all of the ending braces at the bottom on the same line. In fact, I remember seeing this style a few times over the years on the forum. I like it, but stuck with the traditional Allman style, as go back and forth wit...

Re: How does AHK compare with LibreAutomate?

Using a standard language like C# for writing scripts will attract many users, but has anyone tested if the keyboard remapping functionality in LibreAutomate is as powerful as in Autohotkey? AHK is a much richer project in terms of: ease of use, capability, information (books/videos), focus, and be...

I've added support for fat arrow functions and have fixed many bugs. For those interested in testing, see here: https://bitbucket.org/mfeemster/keysharp/downloads/
Very nice and thanks for doing that. Makes it much more convenient and accessible to follow the progress.

It is with great pleasure that I announce an initial release of Keysharp. Re: Keysharp - the resurrection of IronAHK

It is fantastic that Keysharp has reached this point. :bravo: Wondering if this project should be mirrored on SourceForge ( https://sourceforge.net/ ) or on GitHub too. This exposes Keysharp to more random or newbie users, who knew nothing about automation or the rich history. An argument co...

Re: anyone else not a fan of the new V1 section Topic is solved

Hmmm... Even though previously I was very pro V1.1, now that V2 is the official version, I feel it's time to "turn the page". V2 should be very clear and obvious, to minimize confusion for any new users. As it is, I think people can find the V1.1 section and any help that they need. Most people stil...
