Re: GUI Listbox help

Rather late but nontheless: A proof of concept for common list boxes (seems to work stable here): That's very nice just me, works well as far as I can tell. Is there a way that it can: 1: Scroll when the gui isn't active. 2: Scroll the closest control to the cursor and not the control that has focu...

This? Can't test (obviously). #SingleInstance, Force CoordMode, Pixel, Screen CoordMode, Mouse, Screen Images := { NoHarm: A_ScriptDir "\img5.png" , Harm: A_ScriptDir "\img6.png"} return f1:: Loop, { for k, v in Images { ImageSearch,,, 0, 0, A_ScreenWidth, A_ScreenHeight, % v if(!ErrorLevel){ Gosub,...

Spawnova Nice stuff :thumbup: i've had better luck with GetKeyState rather than hotkeys, but you can use hotkeys as well, doesn't matter I concur. WeedTrek Here is a way that you can use some Sprites. Questions? Ask. ;*********************************************************************************...

Re: Hotkey Issue in Pacman Build Attempt Topic is solved

I'm not very good at understanding lengthy concatenation but I'll figure it out. Ternary: ( CurrentDirection = "Up" )?( ( ( Player.Y -= Player.Speed ) < 0 ) ? ( Player.Y := 0 ) ) : (CurrentDirection = "Right" )?( ( ( Player.X += Player.Speed ) > GuiWidth - Player.W ) ? ( Player.X := GuiWidth - Play...

Re: Hotkey Issue in Pacman Build Attempt Topic is solved

I messed around a little with this, I mostly understand how it works but I mangled it to make it a little simpler to experiment with until I can make it do what I want. :thumbup: I'm able to use the pacman picture and change its direction but there's certainly a lot of visual lag going on and I'm n...

Re: Hotkey Issue in Pacman Build Attempt Topic is solved

This shows a player that isn't bound by the grid ( Pacman is only partially bound to a grid ) for its movement but uses the grid for collision detection. As the player moves you will see other boxes show up under/around it. The boxes are a representation of which cells in the grid the player is curr...

Re: Hotkey Issue in Pacman Build Attempt Topic is solved

As for checking for collisions with walls I would recommend using a grid system (multidimensional array) and use different values to represent the different types of objects and thus how interactions happen. For example if I just wanted open space in the middle and walls around the outside I would c...

Re: Hotkey Issue in Pacman Build Attempt Topic is solved

Thanks for the info, I'll look through that and see what I can learn. But already I know that your code is way over my head. The actions of walking in your game is "while" a key is held down? but in Pacman it doesn't matter if the key is held down or pressed momentarily, it continues moving that wa...

Re: Loading image with transparency Topic is solved

Do you know, this Yeah. That code is generated by my Bitmap Maker: https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=62550 I don't actually type that code out lol. But yes, the code can be compacted and made more efficient. That can make it a bit more tricky to play around with the values after...

Re: Loading image with transparency Topic is solved

If combining two images isn't what you are going for, but instead want the window to have transparency as well. You will need to use only a layered window, but that means any controls you want to use on the gui would need to be created by you because normal gui controls don't work on layered windows...

Re: Loading image with transparency Topic is solved

TBH I'm not sure if I know what you are going for, but if it is a matter of having two images overlapping each other you can just combine the two images into the same bitmap before adding it. I use bitmaps created using GDIP in this example, but that is just because it is easier for the purpose of s...

Re: GUI Listbox help

I haven't had a chance to read over your last comments yet so i'll have to circle back to them in a bit. In the meantime I have worked on the GDIP solution a bit and here is where it stands for the moment. I'll put off going over all the in's and outs for the moment, I just want to see if you can ge...
