I just installed AutoHotKey 1.1.15.02 into my Windows XP Service Pack 2 and when I execute the program, it just restart my PC. Same case when I want to uninstall it. It'll restart my PC even I did it in safe mode.

Can somebody help to solve my problem?

99% sure it is something other than Autohotkey causing the restart.

yes... it restarts after I click on AutoHotKey that I just installed.

What if Autohotkey.exe was renamed to something else and then ran?

If it's a virus, an antivirus ran from a clean OS would certainly help.

You could try Revo Uninstaller http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1398 just unzip and have it remove AutoHotkey - I've had some good experiences with Revo so it might work in this particular case as well.

I tried to uninstall using Revo Uninstaller... but no luck... it restart my PC as well

Just delete the AutoHotkey folder. Only things left will be uninstaller entry and file associations, which are both meaningless
