Notifications - actual replies please

Post by PuzzledGreatly » 02 Oct 2013, 20:04

It would be great if, when subscribed to a topic, that the actual contents of replies were emailed rather than just:
You are receiving this notification because you are watching the topic,
...... This topic has received a reply by .... since your last visit. You can use the following link to view the replies
made, no more notifications will be sent until you visit the topic.

Have tried an RSS reader?
I use: "The Old Reader" with this URL feed: http://auto-hotkey.com/boards/feed.php

No, I haven't recently. In the past I found them overkill. I subscribe to several sites that post replies rather than a general notification so I think it is possible. But this site is much better than the travesty that was created on the old site where search and notifications were trashed.

AutoHotkey
Breakout and fork of AutoHotkey.com
TO
AutoHotkey
Breakout and fork of autohotkey.com

and secondly when anyone clicks that link it gets opened in another tab instead of opening in the same tab?

We don't need a like button.
Write an autohotkey script, that automatically quotes the post, writes "+1" and submits it. :D
