I think this should be added, if possible. Particularly it would serve a purpose within the Ask For Help, Bug Reports, and Wishlist sections.

If I were to guess, this is usually a built-in feature of the forum. If the forum doesn't support it, it may be very difficult or problematic to add. Personally, I like the "Thank you" buttons that some forums have. It is used to keep all of the single-line "Thanks" posts out of the thread but like the "Solved" option, it is usually a feature of the forum, not something that was manually added later.

There is a mod to add it but I haven't had the chance yet. It is very high on my to do list
