Hallo,
please dont see this as rude, I am only interested if ahk will be still developed in the future. In the last year I think there were at almost bugs fixed, but not really new funtionality of ahk developed.
Is ahk still in active developement?
Thank you and please dont misunderstand this question.

Sure? Are there any posts confirming this? Or did he say anything like this to anybody?

Just curious ...

Yeah it's pretty silence around lexikos the last weeks. But maybe he needs some off-time. We will see...

Too bad there isn't a huge team of people willing to work on development. Of course there would be disadvantages to the "huge team" part, but we have plenty of wishes in the Wish List forum, and bug reports, and discussion in AHK v2 forum, but we need developers to bring this all to reality. Lexikos has done (and for all we know, is doing) a good job with it though.

I really think some people deserve to be employed full-time on this project. It adds so much functionality to Windows and is easy to learn.

Has patreon for AHK been considered? The AHK foundation has a donation button, but it would be cool if there was a direct route to funding development. And/or a patreon for the AHK foundation, but that may not be suitable. My understanding is the foundation cannot give funds to developers though. And finding appropriate talent may also be a challenge.

Individual developers starting their own funding pages might be simpler, but that's at their discretion.

it mightny be any harm having patreon (or something similar) as option since it allows for recurring donations as well as one time payments
