spotted the USA Today subscriber.
Perhaps in North America - in Europe, I can access it without subscription. I doubt that BoBo has one.

Well, there are a lot of US newspapers which completely block their websites for EU IPs (because they think figuring out the EU privacy laws is too difficult, even after years) - so there's a whole spectrum of bloody brilliant ideas, I guess. But those are mostly regional ones.

USA Today, on the other hand, seems to have its own (free) EU edition...

You're right. I'm not a subscriber of USA Today, and wasn't aware that you have to be one in the USofA to get access to it. Sorry (not sorry  )

BTW, this app/tool might come in handy for some of you: https://getpocket.com
PS. Another option that sometimes works is to clear the browsers chache/cookies and run a blocked link within a browsers "inkognito window"/mode (Chrome).

With the delta variant taking off around the United States, the CDC has updated its masking guidelines for fully vaccinated people.

Do You Need To Wear A Mask Indoors Where You Live? Check This Map

In most midwest and southern states, transmission rates in most counties are Substantial or High. For Florida, Louisiana, and Arkansas, all counties have High transmission rates.

San Francisco program will pay at-risk residents $300 each month to reduce violence
...
The pilot program will initially pay 10 participants at-risk for violence $300 per month to act as public safety ambassadors.
If they meet certain milestones they'll be eligible for as much as $500 a month.
Sheryl Davis is the Executive Director of the San Francisco Human Rights Commission.
"As a part of their participation they are expected to do some conversations around public safety, to do some goal setting for themselves,
to also think about how they can influence and impact their communities to be better," said Davis.
The program will be funded by a combination of tax payer dollars, private donations and possibly a federal grant.
