I edited it to ahkscript.org. Within twenty minutes, the edit was reverted by that Görlitz with an explanation that "that's a fork". If you look at the Talk page I then put a short explanation about what happened, and Görlitz responded, "Thanks for that information. If the fork becomes as notable as the original we should definitely add that information here."

I think we should just let it be for now.

@jNizM: No. They are identical. It's just a matter of style.

Are you sure it's ahkscript.com? I thought it was ahkscript.org... ;)

Regarding editing the Wikipedia page; with the small amount I know about Wikipedia, I don't think it is surprising that an edit was reversed.
From the viewpoint of a Wikipedia user, you have not provided a citation to legitimize your edit.

The Wiki page seems in need of updating, but simply changing the website is probably the wrong way to approach it.
If we were to update the page to include some of the recent history, as summarized here, I think the changes would have a better chance of sticking, especially if we provide multiple and diverse citations for each edit.

Just a couple of the many places to start would be:
  • "Autohotkey_L (AHK v1.1) – now the main development branch" -it has been just AHK 1.1 for some time now (not AHK_L). I'm sure we could find multiple posts in which this was said. (also, this links to l.autohotkey.net, which now redirects to ahkscript.org... so it should be acceptable to change the link too)
  • "The administration of the official site may have changed.[17]" - It should be fairly easy to find multiple sources stating the change in administration from chris to poly, and possibly even include the resulting revolt.
  • Under "User-contributed features" it mentions "COM Wrappers – COM". While this is true, there is no mention that this is deprecated because COM objects have been native to AHK for some time now.

Okay, who's up for editing it and cleaning it up? Everybody as a whole?
