Camo is only visual, radar uses wave physics.
Unless you're including stealth tech into camo...

yes, I meant like fancy scifi stealth type of camo (GITS, every scifi movie ever, "optical camouflage"). not the fabric pattern.

basically:
if you spent a lot of time leveling camo only for it to be detected by radar, would you be mad? (same high level)
if you spent a lot of time leveling radar only for it to be not detect camo, would you be mad? (same high level)

and that picture.. haha :clap:

Logisch betrachtet macht das aber viel mehr Sinn, wenn es mit 1 beginnt, da 0 nichts ist.
Und wenn ich 10 Einträge habe, gehen die auch von 1-10 und nicht von 0-9...

Thats not how it works. Logically speaking 0 is the first element in a list in informatics.

@tidbit
I see... well I would consider the level diff as the original difference found at a "zero" base.
For example, if both have say lvl5 then it would be the same for both to have 0 relatively speaking. If one had 7 and the other 4.
I would consider player A to have 3 whereas playing B would have 0. I guess it would not be so madening if both took the time to level it up fairly, ie no cheating :b

Hey @jeeswg, your reassuring post helps me to not feel so bad for asking questions. But I've also decided, from the standpoint of a noobie, that if some one helps me, it is their voluntary choice, and if they don't that should motivate me to work harder to figure it out myself, search around more, etc. But often I'm not enough of a genius, which is why this forum is so helpful. Then we noobs should be willing to decode, interpret, the code so we can learn from it for the next time. But then sometimes we need help to decode it!

"if both have say lvl5 then it would be the same for both to have 0 relatively speaking."

that would make camo/stealth dominant :D
well, kinda. radar wouldn't be able to detect him, but he would be visible if withing line-of-sight (not behind a wall or in a different zone (large scale game)).
so I guess it balances out a bit.

So... with that in mind... lvl 1 stealth vs lvl 1 radar is the same as lvl 9000 stealth vs lvl 9000 radar.
Essentially, stealth is relatively speaking always +1 to radar when they have the "same" level. In that case, it would always be better to just stealth, forget about radar then :p

@LinearSpoon spammers... :(

@joedf unless you have a little bit of Radar in lvl 0 vs 0

@nnnik exactly! I agree. That has to be specified. who would win in a lvl 0 v 0 would win in a 9000 v 9000. Is how I see it.

How about arrays starting at base sqrt(-1). Now there's something to griterate your teeth on!
