A little Liquid Tension Experiment to shake up your week. Talent level .

Liquid Tension Experiment - Acid Rain (Live)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edqH0ofRQrM

Interesting side note, there is no bass player (in this video) per se. The guy who plays the bass chords (the guy in the middle) uses a Chapman Stick. Very few musicians can play this instrument well. The following video will give you an idea what it sounds like independently.

From the Conan Summer Music Series.

Grace Potter - Empty Heart (Live on Conan)
http://teamcoco.com/video/grace-potter-08-17-15
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDIPDVw7tTU

I listened to (but did not watch) this last night while I was working on other stuff. Today I saw the video for the first time. She and her band put on a great show. Crank it up!

I found Lindsey Stirling on Conan almost 2 years ago. The music performance was a little difficult to listen to (quite a few missed notes) but the stage performance with all of the dancing/choreography was quite compelling. I found some of her studio music on the interwebs and I've been a fan ever since.

Lindsey Stirling - Transcendence (Music Video)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiyPRqP5glY

Hint: The music video is a little weird except for the last minute where you get to see what some of the live performance looks like. Just listen.

Just in case you must see her performance on Conan.

Although Peter Framton is 65 years old, he is still making music. During his 15 minutes in the 1970s, he was the king of live performances.

Something from the internet radio station I've been listening to lately. It starts off a little thumpy but it progresses nicely.

Tosin Abasi (Animals as Leaders) playing CAFO live at NAMM 2016
TBTB is my jam, I actually wrote a cover of Ocean Floor. But really, I listen to everything that isn't country, and even things not from my country ;) . 230+ artists, so I can't (or rather, wouldn't) post all of that here. Buut, I'll post a few more of my favorites.

Oh Sleeper - Death From Above
Memphis May Fire - The Rose (Although The Abandoned ranks higher on my list.)
Abused Romance - Vaporize (Now named "Vertigo.")
There For Tomorrow - A Little Faster (And also Deathbed)
Anberlin - Haight Street (Sadly, they broke up about a year back :( .)
Celldweller - Tainted
Foo Fighters - Everlong (First song I learned on guitar.)
I See Stars - Murder Mitten
Panic! At The Disco - Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off
Trapt - Disconnected (Out of Touch)
Dream Theater - Panic Attack (96% on drums expert on RB.. no, I don't have a problem. Or rather, I do: constantly broken pedals.)

When I code, I listen to Odesza's No Sleep mixes, and more recently, Solar Fields.

I'll stop myself here for now. :D

Tosin is unquestionably my favorite guitarist. Waiting for them to come around here so I can see them live. :D

From the few I checked, I certainly like it. Although, I don't have the slightest idea what they're saying. I'm also a big fan of Billy Joel. Not quite as old, but as old as my library extends.

What I've been listening to (almost non-stop since release): Asking Alexandria - The Black (whole album, but I'll just post just this one)
