Update: Winner announced.

The current SciTE4AutoHotkey icon is kind of ugly, and I want to replace it. Problem is: I terribly suck at graphical art. So here's this small competition! Rules:

• The icon must at least have 16x16, 32x32 and 48x48 sizes. Additional sizes are welcome.
• The icon should represent both SciTE and AutoHotkey.
• The icon must be under a license such that I can use it.

I'll let this competition run for a few weeks; then I'll announce the winner. Also, bonus points if you follow the Metro design language (that is, flat look with plain colours).

Well, I know that ill probably lose, but its fun... so anyway here.. since the old one i had was weird and had "scaling" problems I decided to go with a pixel art. Now they have to scale well, hehe Designed in a 16x16 pixel area. I guess you could say, i sorta had a "brain-fart"... So, didn know what to do exactly And possibly, people here might hate pixelart?!? I dont know whatever.. Here's my "poop" (dump) of ideas... Cheerio, ol' chap!

Maybe it is better to make competition for SciTE4AutoHotkey logo + icon based on that logo. I think logo and icon should look similar.
I don't have graphical art skills but I think logo and icon should look very simple. I think simple logos look very modern, hitech, easy to remember and just cool Some good examples of simple logos: http://speckyboy.com/2011/05/20/50-simp ... o-designs/

Just something fast

A circle as an oversimplified reference to scite and the inevitable H in the center. Resizes pretty well. Looks a bit like the half life icon.

Windows 8 seems to do like that... a mask with a metro color, that can give two results, one for the desk UI and the other for the pad UI...
