i plan on experimenting with DIVERGING from home row touch typing. right now, i strictly type all of the letters with the 'correct' fingers, and i am usually 90-120wpm. but i believe that is not optimal for either speed or comfort. the fastest typer in the world at 210wpm uses up to 3 different fingers per letter depending on the context of the letters in the word

consider the letter combo "re" as in "reach". left hand index for "r" and middle finger for "e" it rolls nice and fast

now consider the letter combo "tr" as in "treat". left index has to type BOTH "t" and "r". that is very slow. but once you get to "reat" that again rolls fast

i was thinking of using middle finger for "r" in the "tr" combo. but, in this specific case of "treat", that would mean i'd also need to shift up the ring finger to type "e". but then, i roll the "tre" so fast, that i'm almost typing them at the same time, and my laptop keyboard is complaining and beeping. i think that may be one of the 3 key combos for ghosting. probably a better example would have been "trouble"

just stumbled on another problem word for me: "disturbed"

consider, left index has to type t,r,b in succession, and then left middle has to type e,d in succession

That looks great, but what's the online like? is it like most/all other programming games where the competition requires you submitting/uploading the bot to the forum and there's a tourney a month? or is it real online? just pvp people within your league.
