20190220 Microsoft har opsporet hackerangreb mod europæiske institutioner

Microsoft has detected hacker attacks against European institutions
104 accounts of employees of democratic organizations in Europe have been attacked.
.....
The news of the hacker attacks in the fall comes the same day that
Microsoft launches a free protection program against cyber attacks in several European countries - including Denmark.
The service is called AccountGuard.
....
That is why Microsoft has chosen to expand its protection program to 12 new countries in Europe.
This applies to Germany, France, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal and Slovakia.
According to Microsoft, the Russian hacker group Strontium - also known as Fancy Bear or ATP28 - is behind the attacks.
The same group has also been revealed by Microsoft to stand behind a hacker attack against the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton during the US presidential campaign in 2016.
In April 2017, it was also described in a report from the Center for Cyber Security under the Danish Armed Forces'
intelligence service that ATP28 had lured in mail accounts with employees in the Danish defense.
