Hey,
is it me or Google search is even better to find posts within Autohotkey.com than Autohotkey.com's own search field?
9/10 I can't find what I'm looking for on autohotkey search and Google finds it first time
Any thoughts lol?
Google vs AHK's own search
Re: Google vs AHK's own search
Well, Google is a specialised search engine company with 20+ year experience (incl. fuzzy search/anti-typo features, suggestions, analysis of the link structure etc.) - so it is not surprising to me that its search is often better than the built-in search of the sometimes clunky phpBB software which probably has no intention (or chance, or need) to compete with Google in this area. Of course, the Google AHK search also includes information about the docs and the archived forums, but yeah, I also noticed better fitting results in the new part of the forum.
Or did you mean Google in general? (Some people don't even know about this custom Google AHK search: https://www.autohotkey.com/search/ ) Well, the same applies...

Re: Google vs AHK's own search
- I recommend Bing over Google when searching for obscure posts.
- Oftentimes I can't find a thread, I know exists, on Google, but I can, on Bing. Cheers.
