How much can JAVA help me to learn AutoHotKey?

I want to learn more advanced stuff in ahk like DllCalls, PostMessages etc. Now a days I am learning JAVA Language, so Please tell me to what extent it can help me learning AHK?

So far, I have got much familiar with the concept of Classes in ahk, since I have started learning java. Earlier I was quite unaware of classes in ahk.

So please tell how much java can help learning ahk?
