World of tanks is not about strategies in itself...
The more you play, the better you play.
Try to find someone in the game with more experience, and learn from them.

Also, the number of battles doesn't mean that a player is good to teach.
Look at Personal Rating. If a player is over 6500~7000 PR or over 1500~1600WN8, he is a probably a very good player..
There are a lot of guys with 50K+ battles and dumber than a bag of rocks.

There are no special strats.
Learn weakspots on tanks on https://tanks.gg/ when you cannot pen them.
Learn maps and positions on YouTube, as there are a lot of guides on them.

There are mods that will help you start the weak spot adventure like "weak spot mod".
