ahkscript.org makes firefox crash.

Post by Daniel Mordecki » 09 Jul 2015, 16:29

Hi,

I have been trying to access ahkscript.org from Firefox, Version 39.0, and as far as it ends to load, firefox crashes.
It crashes also in safe mode.

Please, let me know what kind of information you need in order to work in this problem.
It will be a pleasure helping Autohotkey

Daniel

What is your windows version?
What is your graphics card?
How much ram do you have?
What is your CPU?

No website should be able to cause that. Even if there's something specific to this site that triggers it, there must be something wrong with Firefox, or your system, or Firefox on your system.

Hi,

Firefox Version: 39.0
Windows 7 professional - Service Pack 1
Thinkpad t450s - 12 GB
i5 - 5300 @ 2.3GHZ

I tryied in another notebook, similar to mine, and works fine.

As far as I understand, sites cant't crash browser, at least in safe mode. But it happens.

Regards,
Daniel.

Hmmm... That's weird...
Do you have anything like plugins or extensions installed in your Firefox?

@Daniel_Mordecki

Have you tried enabling (or disabling if it's already enabled) hardware acceleration? Also, are your graphics drivers up to date with the latest available from the manufacturer of your computer.
