Welcome to phpBB3
Welcome to phpBB3
This is an example post in your phpBB3 installation. Everything seems to be working. You may delete this post if you like and continue to set up your board. During the installation process your first category and your first forum are assigned an appropriate set of permissions for the predefined usergroups administrators, bots, global moderators, guests, registered users and registered COPPA users. If you also choose to delete your first category and your first forum, do not forget to assign permissions for all these usergroups for all new categories and forums you create. It is recommended to rename your first category and your first forum and copy permissions from these while creating new categories and forums. Have fun!
Re: Welcome to phpBB3
this appears to be some sort of automatic message meant to assist forum administrators when setting up the site?
guessing that joedf did a backup/restore of some kind and this was automatically generated using Chris' name because he was the first to "sign up."

Re: Welcome to phpBB3
It was most likely his first (of 7 on these forums) - just somehow the date changed through some backup/restore operation.
If you want to call that legendary, sure, feel free, why not..
Tbh, I am not even sure he is responsible for this post himself - that account was probably more of a placeholder in the beginning, so that he could be the site owner (might have been tank in his place, who set up the forums).

@gregster
I think this account just for showing that who is the creator is on the Team list. If he is a site admin he will be active.

Re: Welcome to phpBB3
Chris (Mallett) is the creator of AutoHotkey - well, he started by forking the Autoit source code in 2003, when AutoIt was still open source. But he isn't participating in the development anymore (since a long time now). See also https://www.autohotkey.com/foundation/history.html.
Re: Welcome to phpBB3
@gregster I know about that guy already. But thanks for information.

@joedf
Then that's sad. Also, why does Chris left? He gets his money and then says goodbye to his project?

@tank That's good, that you restore AutoHotkey to a new level, you made an great value to this. Also, most people are using adblocker so advertisements will not be working well...
