Today, I had a forum user offering a donation to me for my time spent on a problem.
I would like to redirect the donation towards the AHK community.

Please, can a moderator or someone with appropriate knowledge tell us if that is possible?
Is there a PayPal account?

You certainly can! Note that AutoHotkey Foundation is a non-profit, so any donations go exclusively to business costs. See the contributions section of the foundation page. Thanks for the interest

The donation link looks very tiny and not so easy to find. Probably should be on more prominent places on the website. Nothing vulgar, just a bit more visible and easier to find.

A lot of people don't realize this. In fact, various corporations look for non-profits to donate to or will only donate to organizations they can get a tax write-off with.

The donation link was not made obvious because of chris' wishes. We do not want to make look like AutoHotkey is monetized, not even for a little bit.
but, yes, perhaps it could be made a little more obvious if one wants to search for it....

This may be a bit off topic but are we allowed to make project requests. e.g. if i want a script written can i hire a user to do it?

you are allowed to post in ask for help and specify your project requirements any effort already made and an offer to pay for a solution. what we dont tolerate is someone offering only to solve for montey

I joined a group of volunteers who share donations to people in need. So far, I've been donating online, and I realized that donations made face-to-face with people are much more enjoyable than donations online. Encourage everyone to join such charity groups, or at least donate food or money to charity platforms. When you see the smile of the person who received help, your day is enlightened, and you feel much better, and these feelings remain for life.

Yes, it feels a lot more "personally impactful" and more touching.
