Kantu & SeeShell

02 Nov 2018, 18:59

Kantu, free and open-source Chrome and Firefox extension for web browser automation.

Note- not exactly free, as SeeShell Community edition is limited to 50 commands, paid version has more features. Kantu is a browser add-on, while SeeShell is more of a traditionally installed program.

SeeShell is the Swiss-army knife of desktop automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
Interesting visual based methods shown to do automation.
SeeShell uses the latest image recognition technologies to automate applications
Note- More "visually/image orientated scripting" can also be done in AutoHotkey, based on PixelSearch , ImageSearch, and OCR.
An example script- https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic ... lit=feiyue or possibly going in a different direction by creating a new script.
SeeShell includes an API to control the SeeShell desktop automation and the SeeShell Browser. With this powerful interface you can control SeeShell with any Windows programming language that supports the use of COM objects. Almost all Windows programming languages support this technology, including the free Windows Scripting Host, Visual Basic .NET, C#, Java, Perl, Python, C++, ASP, PHP, and ASP.NET. For example, you can create conditional scripts that can do anything.
Note- Full access to scripting API is in paid versions, not free version.
