Hi,
I saw the Wiki come back online and have recreated some of the old AHK wiki content (FAQ, script listing etc) which you can find here http://ahkscript.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page
One thing the Wiki could be used for is translations of the original English "Quick Tutorial for Beginners" which you can find here http://www.ahkscript.org/docs/Tutorial.htm into other languages, at the moment there are two in the Wiki (linked from the Wiki start page on the right):
Français: Tutoriel et Vue d’ensemble - http://ahkscript.org/wiki/index.php?title=Tutorial-FR
Português: Tutorial e Visão geral - http://ahkscript.org/wiki/index.php?title=Tutorial-PT
German, Chinese and Japanse are already covered in the full translations of the AHK documentation it seems so there is no need for those but - all other languages would be a useful addition. The tutorial isn't very long and not very complicated so it shouldn't take too much time for a native speaker to translate it. Feel free to add it to the Wiki directly or post here in the forum.
@Mods: feel free to move this post or sticky it for a short while...

Re: Wiki: Translate the Tutorial for beginners to your langu
Might I suggest that you replace your tutorial link with the tutorial I made? and is now hosted/maintained on github?
https://github.com/ahkscript/AHK_Tutorial . Note, Don't use mine (acorns). used this forked one.
1) It's more up-to-date
2) covers more
3) covers A LOT of FAQ's
4) it's more 'fun' as that was my goal. Not just a tutorial, but it 'talks' to the user.
My goal was for it to replace the tutorial on Poly's site. He asked me to (sort of. I said I would do it during the 'upgrade', he said he would replace the current one). But that's not happening any time soon (it has been like 1.5 years)
So now I'm trying to get it to replace the still old and outdated tutorial on the ahkscript site

Re: Wiki: Translate the Tutorial for beginners to your langu
Perhaps the Mediawiki should simply be removed from the site, the FAQ has now (for the most part) been integrated into the official documentation and the various GH repos at https://github.com/ahkscript/ are more useful as the outdated info on the Wiki which can't be edited. There is probably no reason for a Wiki anymore?

Well since it is locked I could "mark" it as an archive document. I'll put a page suggesting to goto the documentation instead, like a "confirm" page.

Re: Wiki: Translate the Tutorial for beginners to your language
As the wiki is now offline, the tutorial has been replaced, the FAQ incorporated in the help, this thread could either be removed or no longer being sticky?
(I see no need for the Wiki to return either)
