I have not been here long, but I have noticed that we have trouble communicating, which leads to misunderstandings, especially since we are international and have different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

However I have only once seen arguments, like the ones in this thread, that wasn't a misunderstanding, in all other instances confligts were resolved by someone explaining that they hadn't meant it like that.

For this reason I think it's safe to say that we all generally are good people and want each other the best.

So maybe we all should take a second to consider if what we read is actually meant confrontational or if what we write can be easily misunderstood.

the new homepage is looking great

but im curious about the dude in the video saying autohotkey is a terrible/really awful scripting language? i noticed the same thing mentioned on the PYAHK homepage but since ive never used any other language or scripting language i couldnt tell either way. its seems ok to me!

Tom Scott is a famous british tech and world attraction youtuber. He explains this quite elagantly

The entire point of the video was to highlight a famous tuber calling us out and giving props in the "wild". bickering about the video is in my mind kind of insulting to its creator. as-is bickering about the definition of bodge which has more than one meaning. JoeDF asked everyone to use the issues in the git repo. why is this conversation happening here. I appreciate ever single contribution from all of you. but i found myself wondering why we cant do this in the appropriate way. JoeDF made statements that while not perfectly accurate are pretty much correct. Some of you are being pedantic. (now there's a fun word)

This home page is flesh now. changes and updates will be done iteratively, from GitHub. Please use the issue tracker to register issues. do not request specific changes without a pull request.

Turned off Adblock Plus and refreshed the page, nothing changed on the website.

Yeah, it's because of google/youtube embedded video have the ads built-in :/

Homepage updated.
Now using code sample, responsive-design more-or-less fixed.

Doing nothing on main page keeps my CPU at a minimum of 75% load, while simply hovering any element takes it to a constant 100%.
Please, at least don't "improve" the download page too.
