AHK main version

Dear forum maintainers,

it's still hard to believe, but AHK v2 has finally been released. Since 2022-12-20 AHK has a new main version, so existing contents related to v1.1 should be moved to subforums like 'AutoHotkey v1.1 Help' etc.

Believe it or not, the maintainers (perhaps even lexikos) are aware of v2 Some changes will happen...

just because v2 has been released, does that mean its now the "main" version? i'd think 90%+ users will still be using v1, so perhaps no changes are needed

main version is what new default downloads will be. everything else is officially deprecated. and will pretty much not receive updates or changes. Every software goes thru this type of change. and we are discussing how best to make this transition clear and concise. People are free to continue using previous versions. that is why we keep downloadable copies. but the forum and site will shift to the current maintained version
