What is [Section] tag used for?

I was wondering if it was for marking a section, something like an anchor, maybe?
This section tag (id=test) doesn't seem to work

Doesn't seem to be generic bbCode. Perhaps it was once supported by a plugin.
The tooltip seems to hint at some id you have to define somewhere.

Ok. I added test as ID, but don't know to apply that ID.
Google reveals nothing. As you said, not a generic tag, I presume.

What does it do? is it worth adding?
Phpbb does have a custom bbcode functionality in the ACP...
