Documentation Pages

28 Aug 2016, 22:25

The documentation pages are broken; where once was two frames and a header, there is only one frame. As you can see, I am using Firefox (48.0.2), and NoScript is allowed on the page. Possibly due to the server migration?

It's undoubtedly due to Cloudflare, which tank has enabled temporarily (or so I've heard).

While on any parts of the site, NoScript detects Cloudflare. This is as I had expected, and if it is certainly the case, being temporary, it's not a severe issue. There is always the chm and links are [seemingly] fine.

@Masonjar13

This is reassuring. May we trouble you to post the direct links to the documentation for use in the meantime ?

Thank you.

I've always had problems with Cloudflare and other similar CDNs. They always screw the JavaScript because their so called rocket.js or something... :/
For static stuff, they're ok :b

See here. It's specifically for the forums, but can be edited to give out the url without tags pretty easily.

@joedf, the only thing I know about Cloudflare is that it's been highly used in the last year. Never saw it before then, unless it's only just that old? Haven't had any issues with it before, though.

Cloudflare has been out there for quite a while now. At least a few years... Usually, there are no issues. However, we are unfortunately one of those rare cases. :/

Still broken in Chrome and Firefox and others I'm sure. Works OK with IE 11. Is this fixable? I would sure hate to lose this very nice feature.

I cannot confirm this. Works very good on my 64bit-Win7 with Chrome 53 !!

Edit: But it looks that I have the 32 bit version... not sure, I will look into it.

Edit 2: Upgraded to 64bit Chrome... works still.

I finally got it working on Chrome 53 (64-bit). I had to clear all of the old browsing data and restart it.
