RPA sub forum

19 Apr 2019, 10:12

Greetings,

Created an account and desiring to participate in the RPA sub forum so I applied in user groups.

No change in status over several days so I tried to send message and get "We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature. You may have just registered here and may need to participate more in discussions to be able to use this feature."

Not sure how to resolve this catch-22 so trying a post here.

Thanks.

Tell me a little about your interest in rpa

General interest. Have dabbled in AutoHotkey and seems like it would be well suited to precisely the tasks involved in automation. I perused the RPA sub forum and then created this account in case I wanted to ask a question. When I log in to the account however, the RPA sub forum is no longer visible, not even in read mode. It's not a big deal because I can certainly continue to just read the forum as a guest if you want to limit it to experts. Thanks.

Yeah, that seems to be unintentional: The forum is visible/read-only for unregistered users/logged-out users, but completely invisible to logged-in users (who are not members of the group - who can still apply for membership in the Usergroups section of the control panel, though). I remember that it was shortly visible after your original announcement, tank, which I was able to read logged in, at the time.

Should be fixed. This forum is specific to those who are or are interested in becoming rpa professionals. A curiosity is welcome but should be read only

Hmmm... That makes sense and also puts me twixt and tween... Open to interpretation whether I am currently an expert, however, definitely interested in pursuing RPA as evidenced by my account handle, "ahkrpa"... As of now it "appears" my request reset... Should I reapply or call it a day???
Thanks.
