Please allow searching by function()

I am currently looking for references to "Format()" and "variadic". The search returns over 350 "matches". Very few of those "matches" include Format(). There is no current method to omit the hundreds of extraneous references when searching for a specific AHK function. Many AHK functions use common English words. As a result searching for posts regarding a specific function often returns many more misses than hits.

Please see if there is a work around with the forum software to allow us to search for specific phrases (ex. "Function()"). I tried this with "Format()" and it did not work.

Yes, the default phpBB search has surely its limits, but I get only 33 34 results, if I use the search term +Format +variadic:
https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/search.php?keywords=%2BFormat+%2Bvariadic&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sr=posts&sk=t&sd=d&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

Edit: it seems, additional () in the search term will throw the search off...

I used your "+" before each word suggestion to find your discussion about Google Search from March.

It would be nice to have a HOW TO SEARCH post detailing these various search options and cautioning about not adding () to the end of keywords because is adversely affects the search results.

There are some hints on the 'Advanced Search' page: https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/search.php (click cogwheel icon at search box to go there)

Place + in front of a word which must be found and - in front of a word which must not be found. Put a list of words separated by | into brackets if only one of the words must be found. Use * as a wildcard for partial matches.

The other options there can also help in some cases to limit the results.
