I have the same problem ("Take a break") ... both from my work station and my home station. I do not use a proxy or tor.

Ditto as well. Surprised if this post will actually submit, I haven't been able to submit any posts elsewhere for a day or so now.

Edit - hey, that actually worked! I've been trying to post a response to a thread in the 'tutorials' section (not even post a new thread, just respond to a post) and have not been able to. I keep getting the same "Take a break!!" message!

Thanks!!

Edit 2 - well, I was finally able to create the post in that other thread as well - hopefully the issue is fixed!

You sure you're not using a proxy or TOR?

I never answered that question previously, and I am positive I am not using TOR. At work, we could be on a proxy - I don't think we are, but I'll doublecheck. I'm definitely not at home, and I had the issue in both locations the other day.

Are you working from a device that responds to port web based requests?

No such script currently exists to my knowledge.
You probably will have to write such as script. If you need help, please post your questions in the "Ask For Help" Section:

Hi,
I was trying to reply to this post: https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=29313
I copy/pasted some of his code and was trying to add a code block to my response but after narrowing it down this part ( see below ) gets me a weird message.
I'm pretty sure I already used SubStr in a previous post.
Actually I just realised it also happens when its not even in a

Code: Select all

 block.

This ...

Gets me this ...

Thank you.

I mean I don't want to point fingers ... forgive my poor english but ...
This was posted before Tank fixed the slow forum issue: https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic ... 45#p137845 ( And it contains SubStr )
Tank post: https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic ... 49#p137849
It's probably a necessary drawback or just me with bad hunch.
Hope that helps troubleshooting the issue.
Thank you for your time !

i'm new to forums. I don't know if there is a limit to my posting for review... but i can't seem to post successfully. At least that is what it appears to me. But next day i see my post. I tried to reply but it seems to fail when i submit... i guess i'll wait till tomorrow to see if this will resolve to an actual reply.

Can anybody tell me if this may be a feature for reviewing new user posts?

I just reviewed and approve your post, ronaldl. Sorry it might be a bit slow sometimes. You just need a few posts till (less than 5 i think), you can then post without approval.

Thanks Joedf. I didn't notice any information regarding the post approval or I would have waited patiently. :P Okay this is post #3 then. hehe.

Image Hello, what's the local etiquette for bumping posts, if I don't get a response for an Ask For Help thread for a couple days and it gets pushed back a few pages? Is there a recommended amount of time (like "three days") before doing this?

I saw bumping mentioned in the FAQ, but it kind of makes it sound board-specific and I didn't see any actual timeframes mentioned.
