@jNizM: That's because I figured out we
didn't need to edit the images manually.
@joedf: You mean the list titled "the list current things that need to be done"? To be correct, we could remove all of the "done" items.
I do not see a need to list what's already been done, and I do not plan to make any further changes myself.

But its not consistent across different threads, such as 'read' threads or 'unread sticky' threads:

Replies and Views are hidden on the main /boards page:
vs
[Edit]Although on the main page it should be topics and replies?[/Edit]
Can anything be done about Members being featured at the top of every page (one of the least useful links IMO)
and New Posts being hidden when not logged in (one of the most useful links IMO)?
[Edit]And while I'm at it, Forums and Board Index link to the same place.[/Edit]

I notice there is a BBcode tag
in the wysiwyg editor. Either I can't figure out how it works or it doesn't work.
Would someone be able to enlighten me?

Apropos ...
I once started a
FAQ/help page for all the tags supported on this forum (as replacement for the
original page). This page was used to be linked from several places (I don't remember all - but at least from the page containing the full editor, maybe from the FAQ-page as well).
The page is hosted on github (
https://github.com/hoppfrosch/AHKScript_BBCodeGuide) /
http://hoppfrosch.github.io/AHKScript_BBCodeGuide/ and has already some docu on some ahkscripT.org-phpbb specific tags. The
page on ahkscript.org was used to be updated from this site ...
Do you think it makes sense to update this page? I recently got demotivated, as there have been so many changes on the forum and I didn't get input on what new tags are available and since all links to the page are gone now and
my modified page is not available on
ahkscript.org anymore (seems to be overwritten with default page recently
) ...
If there's interest I will transfer my repository to
https://github.com/ahkscript/
---
Edit:
My github hosted page used to link to the ahkscript.org-stylesheet directly (
Code: Select all
<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://ahkscript.org/boards/styles/subsilver2/theme/stylesheet.css" type="text/css">
). As the stylesheet also changed recently, my site currently doesn't look as it used to ....

Hmmm, I think transferring to Ahkscript/github would be a good idea, I'll try to update it once transfered.

I added 'docs' but didn't announce it as it didn't work as well as I hoped. If you hover over the button it will tell you what it does and how to use it:
Code: Select all
Links to a topic in the documentation; e.g. [docs]MsgBox[/docs]
Result: Links to a topic in the documentation; e.g.
MsgBox
There are limitations on what placeholders/validation you can use in standard custom bbcodes (i.e. custom codes implemented with the standard mechanism, not custom PHP code). It currently uses the RELATIVE_URL placeholder, which is less restrictive than the others (except TEXT, but "You should not use this token in HTML tags"), but doesn't allow '#' (even though that's very common in URLs).
Any requests to
/docs/xxx which are not existing files are redirected to
/docs/redirect.php?topic=xxx which looks for full or partial matches in the help file index, and failing that, redirects to Google.

would be nice that when a post is quoted in a reply, there is a link to the original quoted post. most forums have that
