What are people's thoughts on AutoHotkey-jk?
https://github.com/Lexikos/AutoHotkey-jk
Personally, I'm a much bigger fan of the Javascript syntax more than the native AutoHotkey syntax and as such
I've already started to move a lot of my daily use scripts into this syntax as well as making all my new scripts in Javascript as well.
Lexikos if you're reading, what are the long-term plans for this project? Is it just a little side project experiment or what?
I don't see any attention being brought to it anywhere. I myself only found it by complete accident while looking for the AHK2 docs online.
AutoHotkey-jk Thoughts?
Re: AutoHotkey-jk Thoughts?
That project is clearly just a script that integrates AutoHotkey functions with JavaScript. I have no plans for it, and have hardly been maintaining it. For background information, see AutoHotkey v3.0-alpha.1 - Switching to JavaScript (not really) (first post and second page).
Being able to export AutoHotkey's functionality to other programming and scripting languages is a long term goal, and was part of the motivation of the "internal changes" mentioned in the beta update topic.
