Backport v2 'OR' / '||' , 'AND' / '&&' behavior to v1.1

Currently in v2, the operators &&, ||, and and or yield whichever value determined the result. I'm not sure on how complex/cumbersome it would be to port back this behavior to v1.1. But it would be very useful and will allow current user(s) to adjust prior to v2 release. I highly doubt that it would break existing scripts as most use it t determine if expression is true or false w/ no regards to the returned result.

I can guarantee that it would break some existing scripts.

The keyword here is most. The rest of the scripts would fail in ways that would likely be hard to trace.
