toggle hide/activate window + complications

So I found that script on forums to toggle activate\hide program's window

But if I switch to another window while telegram has been activated then to show it on top of other windows again I have to press Q two times to hide it and then reactivate(show on top\gain focus) once more. But I need a script that will check if window is active and if it is not (shown but NOT ACTIVE) then make it active. And if it IS ACTIVE - then hide it.. all that with Q toggle. Any 's ?
