Timelapser: [Download][Github][Support Me]

for making timelapses from images!

After many frustrated hours searching for a simple peice of gui software to bind images together to a video... with the answer always falling to, "USE FFMPEG!"
i said screw this! and made my own :)

simply load the program, select folder with incrementally named image files, adjust FPS for desired estimated output and click start!
wait for the progress bar to reach the end, and check in scriptdir for "out.mp4", enjoy!

future plans include;
-different output formats/names
-image list sorting
-recursive seeking
-input VIDEO support
-frame resizing
-auto update platform <-- likely next update to include in all future releases
and more!

for now, at v0.1a, it's certainly functional, and was used to create this sample video;

both more videos and updates to come, along with more software :) stay tuned!

ofcourse bugs WILL happen, knowing my coding! so please report issues below and i will fix them ASAP!
or simply shout out what feature you would like added next, or how much you love/hate this program :D or maybe you don't care! in which case do nothing! you're doing great! :D

I hope you like this!
Have an awesome day guys!

Well done :thumbup:.

For future considerations:
It is a little annoying that the gui has no icon on the taskbar and no option to bring it to the foreground from the tray menu, and you can't alt-tab to it either. I also miss some indication from the gui when the operation is completed.

Thanks for sharing, cheers.

Spoiler
that catching the PID of the ffmpeg instance is difficult, i must assume someone already has ffmpeg running else i might catch the wrong process! i'm still searching for a solution regarding that issue,

as for cancelling out the folder select prompt, it should not go to processing due to line 119

Code: Select all

if !(path)
	return
so how you're getting that error is a bit of a mystery!
can you ensure those lines are present in your script copy?
as usual this is beta release, i plan to add plenty to this and fix the niggles along with various other releases :)

Ah this is brilliant. Utilizing FFMPEG I know it will output awesome results.

Thank you!
