Just an FYI. With SciTE for AHKv2, I tried out the "Hotstring Helper" code here:

The code seems to work fine but SciTE's syntax highlighting suggests that there is a problem with the first and last double-quote in the InputBox. (see screenshot)

I had NOT changed the platform! Thanks for the tip flyingDman, and sorry about the false alarm!
EDIT: On a related topic: Why do you suppose they didn't change the extension to ".ahk2" ? It seems like it would avoid a lot of confusion. Then again, I suppose apps never really change their extensions along with their version numbers...
