AHK Studio problems

I'm trying to move to AHK Studio.

I have several problems:
1. Very often the window becomes unresponsive turning white. As I end the task from task manager AHK Studio launches a new instance of itself and so it multiplies to dozens instances in seconds. So I have to log out from Windows to stop it.
2. When it runs correctly I can't run the script I'm editing. Alt + R or selecting the corresponding "Run" command in the menu does nothing. I haven't got the chance to test other things.

Maybe it's a matter of compiling/building? As mentioned in the forum, there would be an installer, and an installer I was expecting or at least a however the official page linked to the raw ahk script on github:

which I built with ahk2exe using the 32 bit version.

Please help me get it working as I prefer using it to SciTe.
