ahkExported() not working in v2?

I came from v1 and now I switch to ahk v2 and ahk_H v2, been using ahkExported() to call functions that are outside the thread (from main script). Now it seems that it no longer works or it was removed.
How can I now call functions that are located in the main script, from inside a thread?
