crashing because of ntdll.dll?

17 Aug 2020, 05:39

Autohotkey_H (V1.1.32.0) cannot be started on 3/6 clients for 5 days. Two Win10 and one WinXP systems are affected. I did not look at the log on the WinXP computer. The Win10 systems report an error in the ntdll.dll module. I can't imagine that exactly this file should be defective on every client.
Autohotkey_L (V1.1.33.2) can be executed without problems. My scripts only work with Autohotkey_H V1.

Is there any other explanation and then also a solution?

I just updated Windows 10 to version 10.0.18363. At the moment Autohotkey_H can be executed. Could the update last week caused the start problems?
Addendum: I updated all clients. Autohotkey_H is now running again under WinXP.
