Simple 2D-Point graph / diagram?

Here is a screenshot of a simple graph:

X and y values, from 1 - 10, no decimals, minimal graph annotations - only values, only simple points, no legend..

I found some (too) powerful graph functions here; does someone knows a simple, (nearly) completed script for it?
(The other way is to stay in Excel ..)

One way is to draw it yourself with gdip: Plot coordinate pairs

The script I linked to is working. It takes the two arrays, x and y, and produces the .png image file.
