combine alt and ctrl into one key like macos & disable other shortcuts?

12 Apr 2018, 16:57

this is a pretty common thing to do it seems, but i cant find the scripts that's been made over the years

so some shorts would be disabled

* for example say alt f does X

* and ctrl f does Y

* one of them would need to be disabled

also something to use 1 key or 2 keys to switch desktops? and to 'go to specific desktops like 1 2 3'

Too hard for understand all of that.

Did you meant when you pressed Alt with F, alt f doesn't appear in application but send X to application ?
Did you meant when you pressed Ctrl with F, ctrl f doesn't appear in application but send Y to application ?
Is it right ?

If it right, try to use it.

Code: Select all

!f::
Send, X
Return

^f::
Send, Y
Return
" one of them would need to be disabled"
Which would need to be disable ?
- Ctrl F
- Alt F
- Y
or
- X

"also something to use 1 key or 2 keys to switch desktops?"
You meant key window with d or what ?

"and to 'go to specific desktops like 1 2 3'"
What is desktops like 1 2 3' ?
I :superhappy: when I know about AHK.
