Set date to MonthCal in different GUI

25 Oct 2018, 06:32

is it possible somehow to set a date to MonthCal, which is in other GUI, than my code is running?
if I use #include thatOtherGui.ahk, then it selects the date, but cannot submit it (doesn't get the value).
with the Control I can reach Listbox and Edit in other GUI's, but not Calendar.
Maybe someone has idea how I can set a date there?

This is more of a backup option, but you could use the WM_CopyData for sending and receiving the MonthCal. All you would need to do is set the first script up to send the data once the user submits the information, and have the other script ready to receive the data on the other end, and once the other data is received then you can add it to the gui as you receive the information.

So either communicate between scripts as was mentioned, or my MonthCal/DTP functions might allow you to set the date, here:
