Can fingerprint reader touch trigger ahk event?

18 Feb 2019, 14:53

I have several kinds of fingerprint readers and I was wondering if touching the reader (preferably with a registered finger) could trigger a autohotkey event just like pressing any other key/mouse button etc.

The readers use the windows biometric framework..

I understand that the solution will not be super-secure but I'd like to send a pre-defined password to password boxes in a remote desktop session and pressing the fingerprint reader is better than just saving the pre-defined password on a function key. :)
