Need help - click a link automatically when a new tab pops up..

Hello,

I am a beginner in AHK, and I would like to get some help.

I have a news feed reader extension in chrome and firefox, so when a new news is posted in the web site, the news feed reader checks it, fetches the title and link, and then comes up with them in a new tab, not an old tab. Here what I need is click the link automatically when the new tab pops up in Chrome or Firefox.

I think it seems possible with AHK, doesn't it?
Then, is there any script working that way, or a similar way I can apply?
