Check program title and change it

I want to write a function that goes through all active programs (visible on Alt+Tab menu) and checks their title for a string, for each program that has the string in its title the string gets deleted.
It's for an AlwaysOnTop script which writes " - Always on top" (this is the string to check for) at the end of the program title while running.
I want to delete all of those strings from the program names and turn off the AlwaysOnTop behavior upon OnExit().
I have written nothing code-wise yet since I can't figure out the checking part.
