toggle an autohotkey script with .bat script

25 Sep 2019, 02:40

Greetings.. I am looking for a way, preferable with a .bat script command, to toggle an autohotkey script I already have.

The script I wish to toggle is an AHK script that interferes with a game I am playing. The thing is that I don't want to terminate other AHK scripts that are running, just one of them.

I'd like .bat file commands as I use these to launch and kill my games (along with other involved processes).

Thanks!

Why don't pause the script via hotkey?

Code: Select all

thanks for your response! I am unsure if I can use this because I need the .bat file to be in control of the action as it is tied in with when a game in launched.. its ok though, I figured out a workaround by creating an .exe out the AHK script and controlling the .exe with the .bat file.

It would still be useful to know though how to pause, kill, or launch a specific AHK file with a windows commands without terminating the entire AHK exe.

Cheers!
