GetColour in loop

when i was using GetColour function, i realised it didn't work in loops. could someone make a script that keeps on doing a set of actions until it detects a certain colour and does another set of actions. After it has done those set of actions it continues to execute the set of actions before it had detected that certain colour.

I am not sure why a specific function shouldn't work in a loop.
Since GetColour() is not a built-in function... how about you show your code (even if it's not working as intended)?
