I recommend the AutoHotkey documentation. It has many examples including the script showcase. I learned only from that, not from any outside books. If you prefer books, you might want to check out Jack Dunning's books. I haven't read them, but I've seen others say good things about them.
Jack Dunning's publications could hardly be called books. AHK documentation is well, anemic. Too bad there is not a start to finish; beginner to advanced book, like you would find for Java or Lua or any other.

You have read the entire "Usage and Syntax" section?

Anemic? What other language’s official documentation is as comprehensive as AHK’s? It not only fully covers the entire command/function list with descriptions and examples of each, but it also contains a full section that walks you through how to use the language, as mikeyww pointed out, as well as a tutorial for beginners. On top of that, the documentation includes a significant “script showcase” showing fully functional and useful tools written in the language.

Your debate skills are excellent. Hard to argue with that reasoning. Thanks for all the examples of languages that had better official documentation.
