Select Files and Send to Control

Is it possible to select files in Windows Explorer and then send them to a control inside of a window (versus dragging & dropping them)?

I need to select Excel files inside of a certain folder and then attach them to a control which is for attachments. I know I can do a loop to select the XLSX files inside a folder but not sure how to send them to a control.
