missing break key in my laptop - how to create a key combination to have it

I am a developer and I DO need to use the "break / pause" key to stop the execution during developement

my new HP notebook 240G7 has NO break key, the support service is joking me, and none of the "key combinations" listed in the HP website works

I don't know the scancode of the break key... that key is present in any laptop keyboard...

question: how can I easily "create" a key combination to simulate the missing BREAK key? e.g. CTRL+right shift
